Birthday Dinner Recap
Watch this space. It will soon contain a funny little run down about my evening and the shenanigans. I'll probably even mention the food. But I need about four more quarts of water and a day's distance to do any sort of justice to the event. Just trust me, that I've got the best friends in the world and you never, ever order the flatbread.

Can we add roasted marrow bone and the mac and cheese made with Elmer's Glue to the list do-not-orders?

And it had seemed so promising.
The Flatiron Steak was excellent, but the accompanying potato goo and root vegetables with wilty greens were pretty bad. I'm still shaking my head over the hits and misses.

Sorry for leaving all the comments, but I just noticed photos on the wall behind you...I never saw them when we were there. It was SO DARNED DARK. Wow. That was beyond ambient lighting...that was spelunking.
